Pocket-Sized Constitution of the United States of America

S-1004

In 1787, many of the men who fought Great Britain to obtain freedom
and liberty for all Americans, convened in Philadelphia during a very
hot summer - without air conditioning - to establish a foundation of
government that was unprecedented in the history of the world.

Their work has been preserved in the Constitution of the United States.

While it is clear that our government and its leaders know nothing
about the limits and rights as stated in the Constitution, it is our
duty as citizens to read and know our Constitution and hand this
knowledge down to our children and grandchildren.
