Accusation!

| Josh Shields

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.”  — Revelation 12:10

If you have lived for God very long, there is no need to ask, because you have already met them – accusers. They are in every community, church, denomination, workplace, school, and family, always doing their due diligence to bring separation between you and God, you and your church, workplace, school, and some will stoop so low as to try to separate family members.

Never lose focus on the relationship you are trying to build with God, with your boss, with education and educators, and last, but certainly not least, with your family. You see, the enemy has always been at work trying to bring separation. In Job 1, Satan appeared before the throne of God from going to and fro in all the Earth seeking. Seeking what? To bring separation between God and humanity. How does he do this? Accusation!

From now on, give a big case of ignore to your critics and accusers. Like Jesus said in John 8:44, these folks are of their father, the devil. Don’t become a slave to your accuser. I can hear my father say, “Just because they say it don’t make it so.” People who do this are driven by a spirit of fear and jealousy which is not of God. Paul said in Ephesians 4:27, “Neither give place to the devil.”

Being controlled by the accuser has no place in the life of a believer. So, when you feel your family, church, business, or relationships on the job have been threatened, remind the accuser that he has no power. He has already been cast down.

Our prayer for you this week: May you come to realize the accuser has already been defeated.
