The Onesimus Prisoner Outreach Ministry is unique in its service to men and women incarcerated in prisons and jails, as well as the chaplains who provide spiritual support to them.
Onesimus was a runaway slave who belonged to Philemon, a Christian and a friend of the Apostle Paul. Paul wrote a letter to Philemon, encouraging him to forgive Onesimus and welcome him back. This powerful message of forgiveness and acceptance resonates deeply with those who are incarcerated.
Southwest Radio Ministries, through the Onesimus Prisoner Outreach Ministry, is dedicated to bringing hope and support to incarcerated individuals across the U.S. With the help of supporters like you, we provide inmates with Bibles, devotionals, and Bible study resources—essential tools for their spiritual growth and encouragement.
Outreach to Inmates
Religious and counseling materials are provided free of charge to prisoners who request them, whether the request comes directly from the prisoner or through their family or friends.
Outreach to Chaplains and Prison Ministries
Prison chaplains can request free materials to enhance their prison libraries. Pastors may also request resources to share with inmates in county jails. Additionally, prison and jail ministries can access free materials to support their outreach efforts.
All donations to Southwest Radio Ministries are tax-deductible.
